The Edison Spare Skid 20-pack contains 20 individual clear skids for use with the Edison Robot.
You can remove this clear skid from your robot by pulling the skid out from the Edison’s orange chassis. In general, this is only necessary when you are doing engineering projects with the Edison, like when using an EdCreate EdBuild.

What is a clear skid?
Every Edison Robot comes with a clear, removable skid already in the robot. The skid is the little clear bump located on the underside of your robot near the line tracking sensor.
The clear skid helps keep the front of your Edison up off the surface below the robot. This is especially important in enabling the Edison to use its line tracking sensor correctly in order to read barcodes, follow lines, and even run other types of programs.
NOTE: All Edison Robots are shipped with an included skid, located on the undersides of each robot near the line tracking sensor. The Spare Skid 20-pack is designed as a solution to replace lost skids.
