Climate Action Lessons

With over 15 curriculum-aligned lessons and coding tutorials, it simplifies teaching and engages students through real-world applications. This kit comes with all the hardware pieces you need to build a variety of diverse climate action solution projects, making it suitable for grades 3-12 and catering to various age groups and skill levels.

The Climate Action Kit online lessons are aligned to a variety of educational standards including: NGSS, Common Core, CSTA, US State Standards, Canadian Provincial/Territorial Standards, and more to come!

 

Climate Action Kit Breakout Board

The Climate Action Kit Breakout Board acts as the heart, spine and brain of all Climate Action Kit projects. The Breakout Board is powered by an onboard battery (the heart) and transmits code from the micro:bit (the brain) through the board (the spine) to the various robotic components (the limbs).

 

Robotic Components

Each Climate Action Kit is equipped with a variety of robotic components, such as servo motors and sensors, which allow you to complete different projects.

To complete each of the Climate Action Kit projects, students will use a variety of press-fit building blocks to create the structure of their prototypes
