As STEAM learning continues to evolve to better serve students in different learning environments, we're proud to partner with the creators of some of today's most versatile STEAM tools. We've now shared six webinars with our community over the past few months. Thanks to our partners, we've helped educators learn more about maximizing the time they have for STEM instruction. You can find the recordings of each webinar here, including broadcasts on the micro:bit, MakerBot 3D printers, LulzBot 3D printers, and Sphero, Wonder Workshop, and Ozobot robots!
The webinars have been well attended starting with the Ozobot broadcast last December. Whether it's insights into using these STEAM tools in new environments or members of the organizations sharing updates to their STEM offerings, they've certainly been helpful to our community so far. Following the Ozobot team, we also collaborated with our partners from Wonder Workshop and Sphero. In the Wonder Workshop webinar, much of the focus was on using the virtual Dash robot in remote STEAM and coding instruction. And, by the same token, the Sphero webinar included tips on using the line of Sphero robots in hybrid and remote settings.
As we've inched closer to a more robust return to the classroom, the focus of each webinar has shifted. The next two webinars we hosted were with the LulzBot and MakerBot teams. In the LulzBot webinar, we touched on using 3D printing in remote settings, but also on many of the ways in which students could use the TAZ Pro, Workhorse, and Mini 2 3D printers in the classroom or in a makerspace or with other STEAM tools. Our webinar with the MakerBot team took a similar path. In addition to remote 3D printing, we discussed the industry amid the pandemic and implementing MakerBot printers in STEAM. Finally, our most recent and best-attended webinar featured the micro:bit. We discussed using it in all areas of education and why the micro:bit Classroom platform is so valuable.
We are now in the process of adding more webinars to our schedule for the spring and summer months. With that being said, we want to know what it is you'd like us to cover. We encourage you to vote for which STEAM tools you'd like to learn about for remote or hands-on classroom learning. Once the voting period concludes, we'll review the suggestions and consult our partners on the broadcasts we can offer.
