In an effort to help educators stay creative in their teaching and inspire new ways of bringing STEAM to remote, hybrid, and in-person learning, the Wonder Workshop team is in the midst of its first-ever International STEAM Summit! The virtual event began earlier this week and features a whole bunch of engaging sessions from innovative educators. Sessions will be led by Wonder Workshop employees as well as educators from across the country and taking place each day with multiple opportunities to attend through the end of the summit.
We're especially excited to be sponsoring one of the sessions, which will be led by our friend, Jasmine Saab, on Thursday, Oct. 15! Jasmine will be discussing teaching coding in middle school with the Cue and a "DASH" of distance learning. We'll also be providing a Wonder Workshop kit to one lucky attendee! The session is perfect for elementary teachers, middle school teachers, STEAM specialists, and anyone looking to innovate in distance learning. Jasmine will be discussing how to introduce coding to students using the Dash and Cue. She'll also be giving a tour of the virtual Dash's neighborhood for remote STEAM instruction. What to expect at the STEAM Summit.
Among all the fantastic sessions that are part of the Wonder Workshop STEAM Summit, this one led by Jasmine is perfect for gaining some important insights about using the Dash and Cue in distance learning. Whether you teach robotics or coding, there will be plenty of learning opportunities, allowing attendees to gain new classroom ideas. Plus, there is typically a live chat function so educators can have conversations and share ideas during the presentation. The session is live and will begin at 8 PM ET on Thursday, Oct. 15.
Anyone who registers to attend the session will automatically have a chance to be the giveaway winner. A winner will be selected in the days following the session and will then be notified.
