On Thursday, we hosted the first ever Eduporium VR event and we're happy to report it was incredibly successful! We had a crowd that was larger than expected at Café Escadrille in Burlington, MA and tons of immersive learning in the form of presentations and virtual exploration. Attendees included educators and industry enthusiasts made up of VR experts and novices who all shared the same passion for exploring this amazing emerging technology and we thank everyone who came out for making it possible, especially our featured speaker and virtual reality expert, Caitlin Krause!
The afternoon kicked off with Caitlin's presentation on 'VR: A Gamechanger Deeper than Games,' followed by Eduporium CEO, Rick Fredkin, discussing 'Next Steps with Virtual Reality,' and finished with roundtable discussions and the opportunity to try viewers like the Samsung Gear VR, HTC Vive, and Oculus Rift. We even brought some of our other STEAM solutions along for the ride and they were quite a hit as well (even though the awesome VR tools definitely stole the show)!
