Anytime we can help young students experience they joys and magic of coding, we generally tend to jump at it! So, when the 100 Girls of Code organizers asked us team up for their makerspace coding event, how could we say no?

Last Saturday, we took part  in our first partnered event with the 100 Girls of Code organization and it appears it was a fantastic success! Though we could not be there in person since this chapter is located in Georgia and we're just outside Boston, we were thrilled to be able to contribute to creating a dynamic makerspace filled with exciting robotics tools the girls could use to collaborate and code!

Even though we couldn't make the trip, some of our best products did! The girls in the Conyers, Ga. chapter especially loved exploring conductivity with the Makey Makey (below) and using their coding skills and technology tools to guide the Codeybot through a LEGO maze (above).

We also sent down a Sphero, Dash & Dot, Ozobot, Get Hover Drone, mBot-S, and more for the girls! All in all, we received some very good feedback from the adult leaders of 100 Girls of Code, who said they can't wait to make another order so the kids can continue building their STEM skills using technology! The event was a huge success as the 100 Girls of Code organization continues to bring innovative opportunities to children who otherwise might never get the chance. With their help, these girls have a much better chance at a successful future propelled by the power of coding technology!

We would like to thank the leaders of the Conyers chapter of 100 Girls of Code, especially Danithea Ward and Sabrina Lovejoy, who did an outstanding job orchestrating this event! We're grateful that we could help support them and look forward to continuing working together!
